At XPERTS.MY, we recognize and address community concerns regarding radiation from telecommunication towers. As a trusted Network Facility Provider (NFP) with a dedicated Telco Division, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our communities and ensure that all necessary health and safety standards are rigorously upheld.
The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has affirmed that telecommunication towers pose no health risks to any demographic, including children and the elderly. This reassurance is based on our strict adherence to the safety guidelines set by the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP), which are designed to maintain radiation levels within safe limits.
Aligned with the World Health Organization (WHO) findings, there is no conclusive evidence linking radiofrequency (RF) radiation from telecommunication towers to adverse health effects. In Malaysia, stringent tests by the Ministry Of Health, Malaysia (KKM) and Malaysian Nuclear Agency consistently verify that radiation levels are well within approved safety standards.
Each telecommunication tower’s construction undergoes comprehensive city council approval, meeting all standards under the Ministry of Housing and Local Government’s Town and Country Planning Act 1976 (Act 172). This infrastructure is a vital step toward stronger connectivity and reliable communication services for our communities.
XPERTS is committed to regular tower maintenance in community areas. Our proactive approach includes quarterly, in-depth inspections to assess structural integrity and address any signs of degradation, corrosion, or potential weakness. By maintaining these essential structures, we ensure safer, more dependable telecommunication services for all.
As we advance, XPERTS remains devoted to our mission of enhancing connectivity while prioritizing community safety and sustainability.
Together, we’re building stronger, safer, and more connected communities!
