Our Modkha Marine sand mining site at Raja Bersiong River has officially received the sales and operation permits from the Land and Mines Office (Pejabat Tanah & Galian). With this approval, operations are set to commence in November 2024.
To ensure environmental sustainability and operational safety, the Irrigation and Drainage Department (Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran Malaysia) will actively oversee our activities on the river, ensuring eco-conscious practices. The Public Works Department Malaysia [Jabatan Kerja Raya Malaysia] will monitor and maintain public road facilities throughout the project, supporting seamless transport operations.
Despite challenges posed by recent flooding, our team rose to the occasion, completing a new bridge to connect the main road to the site—ensuring accessibility and resilience.
